YuzuSoft's visual novel Senren * Banka is getting a TV anime

YuzuSoft has announced that its romantic visual novel Senren * Banka will be adapted into a TV anime. The studio made the announcement on November 5 on X, where the series' official account is now active.

The franchise comes to animation after surpassing one million copies sold worldwide, according to the figures shared by the account itself. The announcement brings back the line that opens the game: "A maiden's love, even if hidden."

Along with the message, the account posted a celebration illustration drawn by Kobuichi, the original character designer of the visual novel. It also shared a comment from YuzuSoft, the studio that developed the original title.

"YuzuSoft is also looking forward to seeing this adaptation. Please look forward to the premiere," reads the post on the official account.

Senren * Banka is a romantic adventure that YuzuSoft originally released in 2016 in Japan. The story is set in a hot spring town and mixes supernatural elements with the life of a young woman who arrives there and gets caught up in a curse tied to a sword. The title is part of the studio's adult visual novel catalog, also known for Sabbat of the Witch and Riddle Joker.

Launch campaign with QUO cards

To celebrate the announcement, the official account is giving away three QUO cards featuring the illustration Kobuichi prepared for the occasion. To enter, you need to follow the account and repost or quote the corresponding post.

The deadline is November 20. The drawing will be held among those who complete both steps, as detailed by the account itself.

There are no details yet on the animation studio, the staff, the cast, or the broadcast date. The account points to upcoming updates for more information about the series.
