Tongari Bōshi no Atelier perfume scent to be decided by vote
ANIGA-TER launches eight products from the anime, including a fragrance whose scent fans will choose from three options.
The ANIGA-TER store, run by Banana Spirits, opens orders today for a new line of Tongari Bōshi no Atelier products. There are eight items, and the one drawing the most attention is a Qifrey perfume whose scent is not set: buyers will decide it with a vote.
The project is called "Qifrey Selection" and offers three different fragrances. Each person chooses the one that best fits the character, and the winner will become the perfume's final scent. Voting will be open from 18:00 today, October 29, until November 12 at 23:59. The result will be announced the next day, November 13, on the ANIGA-TER website.
Announcement of the vote to decide the scent of Qifrey's perfume. The bottle costs 8,800 yen, tax included, and contains 30 milliliters. It is not the first time a store has left such a decision in the hands of the public, but in anime merchandising it remains an uncommon move. And here it makes sense: Qifrey is one of the main characters of the work, and his image is closely tied to the sensory details of the magical world Kamome Shirahama builds.
Eight products and two shipping batches
The collection does not stop at the perfume. There are two hoodies with tassels: a "Disciples Edition," with Coco, Agathe, Tetia, and Riche, and a "Qifrey Edition," which recreates the character's tunic. The first costs 26,400 yen and the second, 28,600. Available sizes are S and ML.
Two sterling silver 925 necklaces also arrive. One reproduces Qifrey's glasses, with gold plating and black zirconia, and the other is inspired by a pair of rings that, when joined, form a magic circle. Both cost 28,600 yen and include a gift card.
Necklaces and rings inspired by Qifrey and the magic circles of the series. For those looking for something cheaper, the line includes a 380-milliliter stainless steel thermos for 3,850 yen, liquid acrylic keychains for 1,650 yen, and pen stands for 1,980. Six characters are available for the keychains and pen stands: Coco, Qifrey, Agathe, Tetia, Riche, and Olugio.
Themed perfume bottles of Tongari Bōshi no Atelier characters. They also sell layered acrylic cards for 1,100 yen, in a random format of six designs, and phone stickers for 550 yen. The stickers reproduce specific magic circles from the series: the flying boots one, the first one Coco draws at the atelier, the glowing stone path one, and the one used to lower a fever. There are four models.
Dates and how to buy
Orders open today at 18:00 on the ANIGA-TER website. The thermos, keychains, pen stands, cards, and stickers will ship from early December. The perfume, hoodies, and necklaces will take longer: they will ship in early February 2027.
ANIGA-TER is a store specializing in anime and video game products that has been operating since 2017. Its name comes from combining "ani," "ga," and "ter," and it has carved out a place with items that go beyond the typical keychain: it bets on clothing, accessories, and fragrances that try to convey the concept of each work.
The Qifrey perfume vote closes on November 12. It remains to be seen which of the three fragrances wins.
