No-Clipping My Way to Supremacy! anime adds 7 more cast members
Nao Ojika, Kengo Tsujii, and Tatsuhisa Suzuki join the project set to premiere in 2027.
The team behind No-Clipping My Way to Supremacy! revealed seven new voice actors joining the anime this Wednesday. The names include Nao Ojika, Kengo Tsujii, and Tatsuhisa Suzuki. The official website has not yet confirmed the romanization of the character names.
The series had previously confirmed Riko Aono as Henri and Momoka Terasawa as Elelet. With these additions, the cast is starting to take shape ahead of the 2027 premiere.
There are also updates on the production side. Hiroshi Miyamoto and Sumakidori, already credited as character designers, will now serve as chief animation directors. Sumakidori is also handling costume and prop design.
A useless skill that isn't so useless
The story follows Henri, a boy who needs money to care for his sick sister. He's just been kicked out of his adventurer party because his only skill, "Evade," is considered worthless. Or so everyone thought. Henri discovers he can use the skill to pass through dungeon walls and reach treasure chests directly without fighting the bosses.
The premise echoes other stories about protagonists with underestimated powers that turn out to be an advantage. The appeal here is the trickster angle: a level 1 snagging first-clear rewards without landing a single hit.
Kitagawa's original web novel began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in February 2021. The light novels launched in June 2022 with illustrations by Meto Sasame, and the second volume shipped in May 2024.
A manga already at 12 volumes
The manga adaptation is handled by Hata. It launched in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine R in July 2022, and when the magazine ceased publication in January 2023, the series moved to the Magazine Pocket app. The 12th compiled volume went on sale on July 9.
Kodansha publishes the manga in English through its K MANGA service. The official description stresses the same points: rare items, absurd stats, and a protagonist who slips through labyrinth walls.
The announcement comes from the anime's official website and Comic Natalie. It remains to be seen which characters the new actors will play and when exactly in 2027 the anime will premiere.
