OceanVeil has started streaming the English dub of Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! (Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!), the anime adaptation of Muchimaro's yonkoma manga. The premiere took place on October 31, according to Anime News Network. The platform offers the dubbed version of the TV edit and the unrestricted version at the same time.

The dub cast includes Alan Lee, Courtney Lin, and Xanthe Huynh among its main voices. OceanVeil was already streaming the anime with English subtitles in both versions, and now adds the dubbed audio track for both.

The anime premiered in Japan on October 3 on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. In the Japanese market, d Anime Store and AnimeFesta distribute the two edits: the "on air" version, suitable for TV broadcast, and the "unrestricted" version, uncut.

A student council full of eccentrics

The story follows Mizunoe Ume, a student who joins the student council to avoid repeating a year. What seemed like a simple fix for his academic problems gets complicated when he meets the other members: a scatterbrain, one who commands respect, a secret pervert. Seven Seas, which publishes the manga in English, describes the series as a slice-of-life comedy that is "irresistibly charming, quirky, and a little naughty."

Muchimaro launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2022. The thirteenth compiled volume went on sale in Japan on August 17. In English, Seven Seas published the first volume on September 8 and plans to release the second on December 8. K MANGA also distributes the series digitally.

Award-winning before the anime leap

The manga won the print category of the ninth Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) in 2023. In July 2024 it received an animated announcement.

Sangatsu no Phantasia performs the opening theme, "Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkya Inai," and Akari Nanawo sings the ending, "Pi."
