Girls Band Cry releases live video of "Mou Nani mo Iranai Mirai"

The official Girls Band Cry YouTube channel published the live video of "Mou Nani mo Iranai Mirai" today, the song that closed the encore of the "LIVE in Nippon Budokan 'Soukeki no Sakebi'" concert. The release coincides with the launch of the Blu-ray and DVD of that show, which goes on sale this November 4, 2026.

The video shows the full performance by Togenashi Togeari, the real band that voices the series' protagonists. The song was the opening of the first compilation film, Gekijōban Sōshūhen Girls Band Cry Zenpen: Seishun Kyōsōkyoku, which premiered in Japanese theaters in October 2025.

What makes this song special is that the Budokan audience heard it before anyone else. The movie had not premiered yet and the song had no official release, so that night was the live debut of the full track. With that performance, Togenashi Togeari closed their first concert at the Nippon Budokan.

A concert that came quickly

The show took place on September 23, 2025, a holiday Tuesday in Japan. It gathered around 12,000 people and tickets sold out completely. The band was formed with the goal of playing at the Budokan and achieved it in about two and a half years, an uncommon pace for a group born from an anime project.

The Blu-ray and DVD capture the full performance. The setlist includes 28 songs, among them "Zattō, Bokura no Machi", "Sora no Hako" and "Iki te Iki te Yuku". The encore, besides "Mou Nani mo Iranai Mirai", brings "Na mo Naki Nani mo ka mo".

The package also includes a behind-the-scenes video of over 45 minutes showing the members before taking the stage. The limited Blu-ray edition adds a commemorative booklet with concert photos and handwritten messages from the members, a sticker with the entrance poster design, an octagonal coaster that imitates the stage, another backstage pass-style sticker, and a replica laminated pass.

Next concert in 2027

All versions of the release include a ticket for the presale of Togenashi Togeari's next concert. It will be the "ONE-MAN LIVE 'Rinon no Kagayaki'", scheduled for March 20, 2027 at K Arena Yokohama.

The limited edition Blu-ray costs 11,000 yen with tax. The regular Blu-ray edition goes for 7,700 yen, and the DVD for 6,600 yen. The video of "Mou Nani mo Iranai Mirai" is now available on the Girls Band Cry YouTube channel.
