Hannah Storm releases "Alive" and brings free concerts to Mexico

The Norwegian singer behind Belle's version releases the song that opened her shows with AURORA and announces two free dates.

Mariana García 1 November 2026

Hannah Storm released "Alive", the single her Mexican fans had been asking for since 2023. The song opened her performances when she joined AURORA on her tour through Mexico, and now it finally has an official release through Petroleum Records.

The release comes right before two free concerts in the country. On November 4 she will perform at Feria de Calaveras, in Aguascalientes, and on November 5 at MUSICMEX, in Mexico City. Admission is free for both dates.

Storm herself explained in a statement that she decided to release "Alive" while working on new music and before returning to Mexico. For her, the release is a way to thank the support she has received since her first visit to the country.

A gift that didn't make it onto her debut album

"Alive" was not part of It Will Never Be The Right Time, the singer's debut album released in March. That record includes the singles "Taxi" and "Special", the latter written in London with Eg White, who has worked with Adele and Florence + The Machine.

Storm's musical label is described by her powerful voice, melancholic lyrics, and melodies that shift from intimate moments to a dramatic climax. Her recent career includes shows in Mexico, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Colombia, and Spain, as well as festivals in Norway and several occasions as AURORA's opening act.

One of those performances in Mexico City brought together 16 thousand people.

Her connection with Belle

Hannah Storm's name also resonates among those of us who follow anime. The artist's profile on Sony Music Entertainment México notes that she translated into Norwegian and performed "Whispers", "Faces in the Rain", and "Skies of Song" for the Norwegian version of Belle, Mamoru Hosoda's film. That means her voice is in the Scandinavian adaptation of those songs, not in the original Japanese version.

That detail connects directly with the Latin American otaku community. The statement highlights a Billboard Latin America feature after her visit to Argentina that reached nearly 200 million people on social media.

And after Mexico, Norway

The Mexican dates are just the start. Storm has concerts scheduled in Norway: on December 12 at Håkonshallen, Bergen, and on January 15, 2027 at Rockefeller, Oslo.

"Alive" is now available through the Petroleum Records link. If you've been wanting it since those AURORA shows, now is the time to hit play.
