Haikyū!! exhibition arrives in Tokyo with 253 original Furudate artworks
The route goes from Hinata and Kageyama's first meeting to their duel in professional volleyball.
From this October 30, "Furudate Haruichi Haikyū!! Ten: Chōsenshatachi" is open in Tokyo, the exhibition of original drawings that reviews the complete story of Haikyū!!. The show brings together 253 pieces, including original pages and illustrations created for the occasion, according to figures from the organizers.
The route is divided into six zones: Prologue, ZONE 1: Those Who Aim for the Top, ZONE 2: Toward the National Top, ZONE 3: Something, ZONE 4: The Great War of the Monsters and ZONE 5: The Challengers. Together they follow the path of Hinata Shōyō and Kageyama Tobio from their first meeting to the final chapter of the manga.
Haikyū!! was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump between 2012 and 2020. Furudate Haruichi tells the story of the Karasuno High School volleyball club in Miyagi Prefecture, and of the duo formed by Hinata, who chases the "little giant," and Kageyama, the setter known as the "king of the court."

The exhibition does not stop at high school matches. There are also originals from the duels against Aoba Jōsai and Shiratorizawa, the two great rivals of Karasuno in Miyagi, and from the national matches against Nekoma, Inarizaki and Kamomedai.
The end of the route reaches the professional stage of Hinata and Kageyama, with the clash between the two as league players.
The show brings together originals from several of the most remembered matches in the manga. ©古舘春一/集英社The exhibition will be open until January 11, 2027. Tickets are sold with assigned date and time, and the first block is already sold out.

253 originals! I'm really hooked on the idea of seeing how Furudate conveys the speed of a play on a single page 🏐 That said, if you're coming only from the anime, heads up: the journey goes all the way to the end of the manga.
