Second Season of Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha Arrives in January 2027

The second season of Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru will premiere in January 2027. The announcement came with a new key visual and the first promotional video, which preview the return of the assassin reincarnated as an aristocrat.

Joining the cast are Sumire Uesaka as Epona Rhiannon and Yuusuke Tonozaki as Naoise Gephis. Epona is described as the heroine and firstborn of the baron Rhiannon family, with immense physical strength and magical power, as well as being Lugh's assassination target. Naoise enters the S Class of the Royal Knights Academy tied with Lugh for first place.

The production team keeps Masafumi Tamura as director, Katsuhiko Takayama on script and composition, Eri Osada on character design, and Kenichi Kuroda on music. Silver Link. continues to handle the animation. Among the additions are Minao Ootsuki and Haraguchi Wataru as chief animation directors, Masaki Kubomura on photography, and Misato Takikawa on editing.

The story is based on the light novel written by Rui Tsukiyo and illustrated by Reia, with a manga adaptation by Hamao Sumeragi. The first season, consisting of 12 episodes, aired in fall 2021.
