Dragon Ball Super: Beerus gets Latin Spanish dub on November 12 on Crunchyroll
Mario Castañeda and René García return as Goku and Vegeta in the renewed version of the anime, with weekly episodes every Thursday.
Crunchyroll and Toei Animation confirmed that Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will have a Latin Spanish dub starting November 12, 2026. Dubbed episodes will arrive every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Mexico City time, and the announcement came with a Spanish trailer featuring the familiar voices.
Mario Castañeda returns as Goku and René García as Vegeta. José Luis Orozco also returns as Beerus, the God of Destruction, and Arturo Castañeda as Whis. There will be no need to get used to new voices for the main characters, though questions remain about how the dub for this edition was handled.
In addition to Latin Spanish, the production will be available with English and Portuguese dubs. Crunchyroll has been offering subtitled episodes to international audiences since the series began airing in Japan on October 11.
Spanish dubbed trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus.A renewed edition, not a continuation
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is a renewed edition of the anime that originally aired between 2015 and 2018. Toei Animation has made corrections and new animation sequences, as well as modified visual effects and reorganized part of the story to improve its presentation. It is not a continuation with new events, but a new version of the adventures we already know.
The story begins after Majin Buu's defeat, when Goku and his friends enjoy a period of peace until Beerus wakes from his long slumber. The God of Destruction hears rumors about a powerful Saiyan and decides to visit Earth, which triggers the introduction of Super Saiyan God and other important elements of the franchise.
This edition also covers events related to Frieza's resurrection and the Champa tournament, bringing back some of the early sagas of Dragon Ball Super. However, not all episodes will be available dubbed from day one: Crunchyroll confirmed that its distribution will be weekly.
The voices that defined the franchise in Latin America
The return of Castañeda and García is not a minor detail. In Latin America, the voices of Goku and Vegeta are as tied to the franchise as the character designs themselves. Toei can polish the frames, but the dub was the piece fans did not want to see altered.
With the arrival of the Latin American voices, fans will have another chance to revisit these battles and see how much the visuals have changed compared to the original version. The comparison with the 2015 broadcast will be inevitable, especially in Goku's fights against Beerus, which marked the debut of Super Saiyan God.
The series premiered in Japan on October 11 and Crunchyroll has kept the subtitled simulcast since then. Now the dub joins that offering with a weekly schedule.
