Sankaku Head asks readers for help: his new manga "isn't selling at all"

Sankaku Head, creator of Himouto! Umaru-chan, took to social media to publicly ask readers to give his current manga a chance, Boku no Manamusume. According to the author himself, the work "isn't selling at all."

The series is published in Big Comic Spirits magazine and presents a calmer story than the comedy that made him famous: the daily life of a father and his daughter. Faced with the poor commercial performance, Sankaku Head asked internet users to find a way to read it and share their opinions online to generate visibility.

The author's request focuses on getting more people to know the work and share their impressions. The coverage consulted does not provide an audited sales report: for this reason, this review removes the print run and copies sold figures that appeared in the original edition.
