Despite this, the simple fact that Super Saiyan 4 has appeared in a work written by Toriyama legitimizes it within the canon. While it is uncertain whether the form will play a more relevant role in the future, its incorporation into Dragon Ball DAIMA gives it a new status within the franchise.
