Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc gets English dub

Crunchyroll announced this Saturday that the English dub of the first two episodes of Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc, the new season of the anime based on Yura Urushibara's manga, is now available. The announcement does not mention who makes up the voice cast.

The series premiered on Japanese television on October 2 and arrived on streaming platforms outside Japan that same day, at 25:00 Japan time —that is, 1:00 a.m. on October 3—.

What the Nikko Kegon Falls arc is about

The story continues after the battles in Kyoto and Nerima. Shiki and his classmates at Rasetsu Academy keep training and getting stronger, but Yaoroshi rejects Mudano's lessons about friendship. Drawn in by the speech of the Oni Brigade general, Hayate Todoroki, who calls for the "total eradication of Momotaro," he leaves the academy.

When Shiki realizes that the Oni Brigade's creed makes even non-combatants a target, he sets out after Yaoroshi along with Mudano and the rest of the students. The destination is Nikko, where the Kegon Falls stopped flowing long ago and a massive research facility was built. Terrible experiments are carried out within its walls.

A franchise that keeps growing

The Tougen Anki anime debuted in July 2025. The "Nerima Arc" began in October of that same year, and now the story enters this new stage. Outside Japan, the series is available on Crunchyroll, Netflix, Prime Video, and a long list of platforms that includes Anime Onegai, ADN, iQIYI, bilibili, and Laftel, among many others.

On Prime Video, the series can be watched worldwide except in Japan and mainland China. On Netflix, it is available globally except in Japan. Crunchyroll is the platform releasing the English dub.

Urushibara's manga began serialization in Akita Publishing's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in June 2020. The 30th collected volume went on sale on July 8. Yen Press has been publishing the work in English since September 2024 and will release the sixth volume on November 24.

The franchise also had a stage play that ran in Tokyo and Osaka in February 2024, with a sequel arriving in January 2025. And there is a companion mini anime titled Onimomomomo, whose episodes were released weekly alongside the main chapters.

For now, the announcement of the English voice cast is still pending. The first two dubbed episodes are already available to watch on Crunchyroll.
