Aniplex releases the Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! ending
The sequence debuted in the fourth episode of the Passione anime and features storyboards by AoiSora, a creator based in Sydney.
Aniplex has released the ending animation for Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! (Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!), the comedy adapting Muchimaro's 4-koma manga. The sequence debuted in the fourth episode of the series, which has been airing since early this month.
The video keeps the song «Pit» by NANAWOAKARI, which already played over the previous ending. The difference is in the animation: the new ending, like the "~Yama ari Tani ari, Ana mo ari. ver.~" version, features storyboards and unit direction by AoiSora, an independent creator based in Sydney. She also handles the color scripts alongside Masaaki Tanaka.
AoiSora explained that she was invited to the project by Ryo Imamura, the series' character designer, who serves as chief animation director for the ending. The creator herself assembled the team working with her.
A career tied to music videos
This isn't the first time AoiSora has taken on this type of work. She previously worked as storyboard artist and unit director on the music video "What The Ripple Sees" for Honkai: Star Rail, on the "Sea Major" teaser for the same game's 2025 New Year fan art program, and on the Fate/Grand Order commercial "Indra no Daishiren ~Meguru Broken Sky~." Her profile fits a production that bets on ending sequences with a strong visual identity.
The anime is directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Nisekoi, The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch) at Passione. Series composition is handled by Masahiro Yokotani, known for his work on Re:ZERO. Imamura, in addition to character design, had already directed the animated trailer the manga received in July 2024, before the TV adaptation was announced.
An unconventional student council
The story follows a student council that strays from the usual model. The manga has both censored and uncensored versions. The main cast is led by Shogo Sakata as Ume Mizunoe, Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki, and Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku. Hiyori Kono, Shizuka Ishigami, and Yumi Uchiyama round out the main roles.
The series airs on OceanVeil, iQIYI, and Bilibili. The ending arrives when the season has barely started, with four episodes aired.
