The giant EVA-01 and the Miyata and Sakuma talk arrive at TBS's new event

TBS revealed the second batch of details for its new "Anime no Ba" event, which will take place on November 7, 2026 at Akasaka Sacas and the TBS Akasaka BLITZ Studio. The new details include Toshiya Miyata and Daisuke Sakuma taking part in a talk about anison, and a giant photo spot of Evangelion Unit-01 measuring over six meters wide.

Miyata and Sakuma, two celebrities known for their love of anime, will take the stage at BLITZ Studio alongside Ayana Taketatsu and Akari Kitō in the "Anime no Ba Special New Event". Under the theme "My divine anison", they will talk about anime songs and series. The talk will also be broadcast on the screen of the stage at Akasaka Sacas plaza.

At the plaza, the main visual attraction will be the Unit-01 photo spot, which appears to break through rubble from a giant screen into the real world. Attendees will receive a special sticker while supplies last.

Rilakkuma, DJ, and exclusive merchandise

The event will also feature a greeting from Rilakkuma, the series TBS is currently airing. The character will appear alongside Awawanko on November 7 from 10:00 to 10:20. After that, from 12:50 to 13:10, there will be a DJ session by DJ Kazu, known for his work with J-POP.

For those who want to take something home, the merchandise area will have original Evangelion items at special event prices: acrylic stands for 1,900 yen, pins for 500 yen, acrylic keychains for 1,300 yen, and a sticker set for 1,700 yen. All prices include tax.

The return of Takopii with a food surprise

There will also be merchandise from the Takopii no Genzai anime, and a food truck in collaboration with the Takopii no Genzai -Arigatō, Mata Ashita- film and the Bakudan-yaki Honpo chain. They will sell bakudan-yaki with octopus sausage for 900 yen before tax, from 10:30 to 17:00.

The day will also include a talk event about the Takopii film, another about the Sūpā no Ura de Yani Sū Futari anime, and a public recording of "Anime no Bangumi Hajimemashita (kari)". Miyata and Hiro Shimono will also appear in some of these programs.
