Girls Band Cry to hold special exhibition in Tokyo from November 14
The event includes life-size acrylic figures, recreated scenes, and an area to try the game "Momoka (wo) WASSHOI".
The Girls Band Cry franchise adds a new event for fans in Japan. The special exhibition for the series will open its doors on November 14, 2026 at Anime Tokyo Station and will be open until January 31, 2027.
The announcement confirms that the event will bring together several attractions for those who follow Togenashi Togeari. There will be life-size acrylic figures of the characters, a corner recreating scenes from the anime, and an exhibition area with visuals, PVs, and music videos.
Posters from the live concerts and the CDs released by the band will also be on display. A full tour through the history of the series and its music.
A corner to become Nina and try Momoka's game
One of the most striking points is the photo spot to become Nina Iseri, the protagonist. Visitors will also be able to try the game "Momoka (wo) WASSHOI", which appears within the story, and there will be augmented reality content.
The organizers warn that content may change without prior notice, so it's best to check the official website before going.
As part of the same event, on November 13 a special exhibition for Rakuen Tsuihou: Kokoro no Resonance, the new film in the Expelled from Paradise franchise, will open. Both exhibitions will share space in the same venue.
Girls Band Cry is an original anime by Toei Animation that premiered in April 2024. It tells the story of Nina Iseri, a girl who drops out of high school and moves to Tokyo, where she forms the rock band Togenashi Togeari with her bandmates. The franchise has also had compilation films and a manga adaptation.
