Bleach celebrates its finale with a joint listening party of all its openings and endings
On October 23 there will be a listening party with the series' official playlist, a few days before the final episode.
The Bleach anime is about to close a story that began more than twenty years ago. And to give it the send-off it deserves, a joint listening party was organized featuring all the openings and endings that accompanied the series from the Substitute Shinigami arc to the Thousand-Year Blood War.
The date is October 23, 2026 at 19:00 (Japan time). That day the official playlist "BLEACH Theme Songs" will be played so fans can listen to the songs at the same time and share their memories on X with the hashtag #BLEACH完结.
The event comes just before the definitive ending: the final episode airs on October 26 at 24:00 in Japan. No spoilers here, but we can say that the final stretch of the Thousand-Year Blood War left us with our hearts in our hands more than once.
A playlist spanning twenty years of history
The list is very long and covers every stage of the anime. It starts with classics like *~Asterisk~ by ORANGE RANGE, Life is Like a Boat by Rie fu, and Thank You!! by HOME MADE KAZOKU, the songs that played when Ichigo was just discovering his shinigami powers.
From there it jumps to the Soul Society arc with D-tecnoLife by UVERworld, Ichirin no Hana by HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, and Hanabi by Ikimonogakari. It also includes the themes from the Hueco Mundo arcs and the battle against Aizen, with gems like Rolling star by YUI, ALONES by Aqua Timez, After Dark by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, and Velonica, also by Aqua Timez.
The final part of the playlist focuses on the current arc. There you'll find Scar and Rapport by Tatsuya Kitani, Saihate by SennaRin, STARS by w.o.d., Endroll by Yoh Kamiyama, and the most recent themes by 9Lana, among others.
The format is simple: at 19:00 the full playlist is played, and everyone posts their impressions with the official hashtag. It's a nice way to relive as a community what each song meant to those of us who grew up watching the series.
More ways to celebrate the finale
For those who want to take a little piece of the series home, starting October 20 Granif has a collection inspired by the Thousand-Year Blood War and the shikai of several zanpakutō. There are hoodies with the Senbonzakura design and a Kyōka Suigetsu bomber jacket, among other items.
And if anyone is in Japan in November, there will also be a temporary Bleach store at Shinsaibashi PARCO from November 28 to December 13. A good excuse to stay in mourning, or celebration, after the final episode.
The playlist is already available for anyone who wants to warm up. We already know which song we'll be crying to on October 23.
