The anime continues its weekly run on Netflix on October 29 and looks set to close out the story with this second season.

Episode 5 of the second season of Icebreaker premieres on October 29 on Netflix. The episode arrives one more week to the platform's catalog, which airs the series in simulcast.

The schedule for Spain is 17:30 (16:30 in the Canary Islands). The platform has not detailed time slots by country for Latin America.

The series landed on Netflix this 2026 as a relatively unknown proposal within the season. As the episodes have progressed, the development of Koyuki, Miki, Minato and Yota has been gaining ground among those looking for a slow-paced romance, with characters that feel close and situations that don't need excessive drama to work.

The end is near

The second season is delving into the feelings of the main group. That introspective work is one of the points that carries the most weight in the series: doubts, silences and small decisions matter more than abrupt twists.

But there is one detail that changes how we read what's left: everything points to this season being the last. The conclusion comes from the material left to adapt. If the anime keeps its current pace, the story will be fully closed and Icebreaker won't drag on for years.

There is no official confirmation from the production committee, but the math is simple: the manga doesn't have enough material for more full seasons. That turns these episodes into the final stretch of an anime that has preferred to be short and direct rather than stretch its premise.

Episode 5 will keep the series' weekly appointment. With the second half of the season already underway, it's time to see how the relationships the series has built calmly since its first installment get resolved.

Do you like that Icebreaker closes its story in two seasons or would you rather it took more time? I'll read you in the comments.
