Mix Green Opens Submissions for New Manga with Shihei Lin, Editor of Chainsaw Man
The company founded by the former Shueisha editor launched its digital platform and is accepting manuscripts from artists
Image from the original Anitsu edition. Mix Green, the company founded by editor Shihei Lin, launched its new manga platform on April 17 and began accepting manuscript submissions from artists. The open call represents an opportunity for creators looking to publish in a digital project led by one of the most renowned editors in the industry.
Lin built his career at Shueisha, where he worked from 2006 until his departure in August 2022. During that period, he edited titles that became global phenomena such as Chainsaw Man, SPY×FAMILY and Dandadan. After leaving the publisher, he continued collaborating with the artists he had edited as an independent editor before founding Mix Green.
Mix Green's digital platform bets on a model removed from traditional physical magazines. Selected manuscripts will be published through this new channel, which seeks to discover stories with the potential to become the next manga hits.
