Everyone's Darling Has a Secret unveils its ending and three new voices
The new teaser includes a preview of 'Naritai Watashi', performed by the unit Aiiro Impulse.
The Everyone's Darling Has a Secret anime released a new teaser that includes a preview of its ending theme, "Naritai Watashi" ("The Person I Want to Be"). The song is performed by Aiiro Impulse, the unit formed by the voices of Rei, Sakura, and Sora, the three main female characters of the series.
The announcement also confirmed three additions to the cast. Aimi Ozawa will voice Hofu, Renon Esumi will voice Saito, and Aoi Onishi will voice Okaba. They join the already known names: Reiji Kawashima as Hizashi Hiruno, the protagonist, and Hikaru Tono, Iori Noguchi, and Ai Maeshima as Rei Kuromiya, Sakura Akai, and Sora Konno respectively. These last three make up Aiiro Impulse and perform the song that accompanies the anime's ending.
The series is scheduled to premiere in April 2027, with animation from studio Gekko. Crunchyroll has already confirmed it will stream it during its premiere season.
A shōjo with double lives and remedial classes
The original manga by Kashiko Amane has been published in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine since September 2022. Yen Press handles its English release. The story follows Hizashi, a student who discovers that a mix-up in exam results lands him in remedial classes alongside three popular girls who hide another side of themselves.
The production team is led by director Hikaru Sato and screenwriter Fumihiko Shimo. Kibidango 14-go handles character design, while Satoru Kosaki and MONACA compose the music for the adaptation.
The teaser does not set a specific date within April 2027, but it makes the musical tone of the project clear: a choral ending performed by the protagonists themselves.
With the main cast locked in and the ending presented, studio Gekko faces the months leading up to the premiere. The opening and the exact number of episodes for the adaptation are still unknown.
