Shounen

A young boy lives with his mother in a cramped, dilapidated house on the outskirts of a small town. His father is absent, and the family struggles to make ends meet, relying on his mother's meager earnings. The boy spends his days wandering the neighborhood, observing the mundane lives of the people around him: a lonely old woman, a group of children playing, a man repairing his bicycle. He is a quiet, introspective child, often lost in his own thoughts, and his world is filled with a sense of melancholy and isolation.

As he explores his surroundings, the boy encounters the subtle cruelties and small kindnesses of everyday life. He witnesses a fight between a married couple, sees a stray dog being chased away, and listens to the gossip of the local women. His mother, though loving, is often exhausted and distant, leaving him to fend for himself. The boy's only solace is his vivid imagination, which he uses to escape the harshness of his reality.
