Secret Love
Finishedシークレット・ラブ
A collection of eight short stories by Masako Yashiro, published in 1978. The stories explore different facets of human relationships, often through the lens of everyday life and unexpected encounters. In one tale, a young woman navigates the complexities of a secret love, while another follows a girl named Tamago-chan. A story titled "Nomi no Uta" presents a unique perspective on life, and "Mrs Monroe no Ojousan" introduces a character from a different world.
Each story presents a unique conflict or emotional turning point. From a helicopter-loving cat to a tree called "Manma no Ki," the narratives delve into themes of love, loss, and the quiet moments that shape people's lives. "Yumiko Betsuri wo Shirazu..." deals with separation, while "Nero Toiu Neko" centers on a cat named Nero. The collection offers a varied and heartfelt look at human emotions and connections.
