Ashitarou Hasegawa, a young man with a criminal record, is released from a Tokyo prison after serving time for a crime. Upon his release, he meets Aran Inoue, a boy his age, and a mysterious girl who had been waiting for him.
Soon after his return to freedom, Ashitarou finds himself pursued by a dangerous group seeking a treasure they believe he possesses. As he struggles to escape his past, the secrets behind his crime and the true nature of the treasure begin to surface, forcing him to confront the consequences of his actions.
