A factory worker lives a monotonous life, finding solace only in his pet monkey. One day, he is forced off a crowded train at the wrong stop, disrupting his routine. He visits the Ueno Zoo, where the monkeys become agitated in his presence, hinting at an unsettling connection.
Frustrated by his oppressive daily existence, the man reaches a breaking point. In a fit of anger, he writes a resignation letter, setting in motion a confrontation with his own despair and the primal instincts that mirror his own.
