In the year 0041, the legendary idol group AKB48 has become AKB0048. To preserve the legacy of the first generation, they choose successors among the students of the AKB Academy. Hoshina Furea is a shy girl who trains alongside her childhood friend Noa, who has a good chance of becoming a successor.
