Chiaki Chigira returns to Japan after years in America and enrolls at the all-girls Private Seibi Academy. She carries with her the cherished stories of a "Snow Black Princess" and the legendary Black Lotus, tales spun by her late brother before his passing.
At her new school, she encounters members of the Enbuken club, who attempt to introduce her to the mysterious Brain Burst program. Unbeknownst to Chiaki, her brother had already installed the software on her device years ago, making her an unknowing participant in the hidden, high-stakes world of the Accelerated World.
