象列車がやってきた

After World War II, Japan's zoos had lost most of their elephants due to wartime safety measures. Only two elephants remained at Higashiyama Zoo in Nagoya, becoming a symbol of hope for children across the country.

To give children the chance to see these beloved animals, special trains called "Elephant Trains" were organized, bringing kids from all over Japan to the zoo. This film follows the journey of those children and the significance of the elephants in a recovering nation.
