La Grenadière

A mother and her child live in a quiet mansion on the banks of the Loire River in 19th-century France. Their days are filled with simple routines and the warmth of their bond, set against the changing seasons of the countryside.

Based on Honoré de Balzac's novel, this Ga-nime brings over 70 tempera paintings to life. As the mother's past and her son's future intertwine, the story explores the depth of a parent's love and the inevitable passage of time, all set to a musical score that enhances the emotional journey.
