Yuuki Hitotsu wo Tomo ni Shite

Icarus, a young boy imprisoned on the island of Crete with his father Daedalus, dreams of freedom. Trapped by the labyrinthine prison and the watchful eyes of King Minos, he longs to escape the confines of his stone-walled existence. His father, a brilliant inventor, devises a daring plan to build wings from feathers and wax, allowing them to fly away from their captivity.

Overjoyed by the prospect of flight, Icarus takes to the skies, exhilarated by the newfound sensation of soaring through the air. Ignoring his father's warnings, he becomes enamored with his success and flies higher and higher, drawn by the warmth and brilliance of the sun. The heat causes the wax holding his wings together to melt, and Icarus plummets into the sea below.
