Let’s Just Get It Started

ShiShi Yamazaki created an original song and dance performance three years ago. Most of the frames were painted during 2019, resulting in a short animated piece that celebrates the act of beginning. The work centers on the idea that anyone can start something new at any time, no matter the circumstances.

The animation serves as a prayer to encourage that first step forward. Through vibrant visuals and rhythmic movement, it captures the hesitation and excitement of embarking on a new journey. The song itself was composed to inspire action, reminding viewers that the hardest part is often just getting started.

With its hand-painted frames and heartfelt message, this special invites everyone to overcome their doubts and take that initial leap. It is a gentle push toward creativity, change, and personal growth, emphasizing that every great endeavor begins with a single moment of courage.
