I've Been Working on the Railroad
Finished線路はつづくよどこまでも
A music video brings to life the classic Japanese children's song "Senro wa Tsuzuku yo Dokomademo" (The Railroad Tracks Go On Forever). The visuals follow a train as it travels through a vibrant and imaginative landscape, accompanied by the cheerful melody performed by the group Kaientai. The journey unfolds across rolling hills, tunnels, and bridges, capturing the sense of endless adventure and the simple joy of movement.
The video was created for NHK's long-running program "Minna no Uta," which showcases animated and live-action clips set to songs. As the train chugs along, the scenery shifts from day to night and through various seasons, reflecting the song's themes of perseverance and the endless possibilities that lie ahead on the tracks.
