Hibiki Tachibana leads a double life: a high school student struggling with summer homework, and a Symphogear-wielding agent for the military organization S.O.N.G., tackling global crises. During a briefing, Hibiki and her team learn of the Bavarian Illuminati, a shadowy group operating in the war-torn nation of Val Verde and linked to past catastrophes. Infiltrating one of their facilities, the team frees hundreds of slaves, only to confront the Illuminati's leaders—the powerful alchemists Saint-Germain, Cagliostro, and Prelati.
These alchemists wield terrifying powers and declare a global revolution, sacrificing thousands of lives in the process. Faced with this new existential threat, Hibiki and her allies must engage in their most difficult and destructive battle yet to protect the world.
