Daoko launches her new project "Okodaoko" with a music video for the song "Onomatopoeia Rap ~Natsu Asobi-hen~." The video is a collaboration with manga artist Keiichi Arawi, known for his distinctive style in works like "Nichijou" and "CITY." The animation brings the playful, onomatopoeic lyrics to life, depicting a vibrant summer day filled with sounds and activities.
As children explore their neighborhood, they encounter various summer scenes—catching cicadas, eating watermelon, and playing by the river. The rap's rhythm matches their adventures, with each onomatopoeia capturing a moment of joy or surprise. The music video blends Arawi's whimsical character designs with Daoko's energetic performance, creating a nostalgic yet fresh celebration of summer childhood.
