Nagaina-san to Hayaina-san

A music video accompanies the song "Nagaina-san to Hayaina-san" performed by the vocal group Singers Three. The piece was created for the NHK program Minna no Uta, a long-running segment that showcases animated clips set to songs. The video features two characters: one who is very long and one who is very fast. Their contrasting traits are highlighted through simple, playful animation as they interact in a whimsical setting. The song's lyrics and visuals emphasize the differences between the slow, elongated figure and the quick, energetic one, creating a humorous and catchy short.
The video was broadcast as a single episode special in 1974, lasting only a few minutes. It remains a nostalgic example of early Japanese music animation, capturing the charm of the Minna no Uta series. The characters' adventures are minimal but engaging, focusing on their unique abilities and the comedic situations that arise from their opposing natures.
