Maru-san and Kaku-san, two friends who have grown complacent during a long period of peace, decide to attend a military parade. What begins as a casual outing quickly turns into an eye-opening comparison of the armed forces from countries around the world. As they observe the displays of military strength, they become curious about the true intentions behind each nation's power.
Driven by their newfound interest, the pair secretly listens in on an international arms control conference. There, they discover the hidden agendas and strategic calculations of the world's major powers. The film offers a satirical look at global militarism and the delicate balance of peace and conflict in the early 1930s.
