Makiba no Koushi

In 1967, the Tokyo Shounen Shoujo Gasshoutai, a well-known children's choir in Japan, recorded the song "Makiba no Koushi" for the NHK program Minna no Uta. This program regularly featured animated music videos to accompany its songs, and a short animated film was produced to visualize the lyrics of this particular piece. The animation depicted pastoral scenes of a calf in a meadow, following the song's gentle and nostalgic tone.
However, this animated music video has since been lost. No known copies of the film exist in any archive, broadcast library, or private collection. It is considered lost media, with its exact visual content and animation style remaining a mystery to researchers and fans. The song itself survives through audio recordings, but the accompanying video has vanished without a trace, leaving only descriptions and memories from those who saw it during its original broadcast.
