Koutsuu Anzen da yo Doraemon

Doraemon, the robotic cat from the future, and his friends Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo star in two short educational films about traffic safety. The first episode, roughly 16 minutes long, teaches children how to properly cross streets, obey traffic signals, and avoid dangerous behaviors like running into the road or playing near vehicles. Through simple, relatable scenarios, the characters demonstrate the importance of looking both ways and using crosswalks.

The second episode, discovered years later on a fragile 16mm film, continues the lessons with additional situations. Doraemon and the gang show what to do when a ball rolls into the street, how to behave on bicycles, and why it is crucial to follow traffic rules even in familiar neighborhoods. The films were originally created for Japanese educators to borrow and screen in schools, making safety lessons engaging for young audiences.
