Lucia, the mermaid princess of the North Pacific, possesses a magical pearl that holds great power. One night, she entrusts this pearl to a human boy, Kaito, who falls from a ship into the sea. To retrieve her pearl and fulfill her duty, Lucia must venture into the human world in a human form. In the human world, Lucia discovers that her pearl is now with Kaito, but she also learns of a rising evil force that threatens the seven mermaid kingdoms. To combat this threat and protect her home, she must harness the power of music, transforming and singing to unleash her magical abilities.
