In 1945 Hiroshima, a young girl works as a conductor on the city's streetcars, connecting the daily lives of its residents. Her routine is disrupted when the atomic bomb devastates the city, changing everything she knows.
After the bombing, she and the surviving streetcar crew struggle to restore the service, facing the aftermath of destruction and loss. The story follows her efforts to keep the streetcars running as a symbol of resilience and hope amid the ruins.
