Kitarou is a young ghost who inhabits the mysterious world between the living and the dead. With the help of his father, a sentient eyeball, and other quirky yokai companions, Kitarou travels across Japan. He confronts various threats, from ancient curses to modern-day urban legends, serving as a bridge of understanding and a guardian of peace between both realms.
