Shobu Kirifuda travels to the world of Duel Masters alongside his friend Rekuta to aid the Fire Civilization, which is under attack by the Darkness Civilization. Upon arrival, he is shocked to find Storm XX, the Fire Civilization's strongest warrior, badly beaten.
As the Darkness Civilization captures Rekuta and Storm XX's comrade Reppi Aini, Shobu must find a way to rescue them and protect the Fire Civilization from total destruction. With the fate of an entire world at stake, Shobu must rely on his dueling skills and courage to overcome the dark forces.
