Tetsuryo! meet with Tetsudo Musume Anime Gets Two-Volume Blu-ray Release
Asaka's opening theme is now available digitally, and the ending arrives on October 16
Pony Canyon has announced that Tetsuryo! meet with Tetsudo Musume will be released on Blu-ray in two volumes. The first arrives on January 27, 2027 and the second on February 24, 2027. Each will cost 19,800 yen (tax included), with a limited edition priced at 23,100 yen available exclusively through the Canime store.
The announcement comes alongside the anime's premiere, which began airing on October 8 on TOKYO MX and BS Fuji. The series is based on the Tetsudo Musume character franchise created by Tomytec, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a completely original story.
The story follows Misaki, a girl who doesn't know what she wants to do with her future. When she starts university, the train travel club—known as Tetsuryo-kai—reaches out to her. From there, the group travels to discover the world of railway girls and find that "something" that makes the heart race.
What the Blu-rays Include
The first volume includes creditless opening and ending videos, as well as the full special that aired just before the premiere. The second features a digest of unaired scenes from Tetsuryo-kai Katsudo Nisshi, a segment related to the series.
Both discs come with a cardboard slipcase featuring new artwork and a special booklet. There are also store-exclusive bonuses: Amazon offers two acrylic keychains, Animate a PVC pass with four mini photos, and Rakuten Books a set of five acrylic coasters, to name a few.
The Music Is Already Underway
The opening theme, GO! GO! RAILWAY!!, is performed by Asaka and has been available in its anime version on digital platforms since October 8. The full CD releases on November 18. Pony Canyon has also published the creditless video, showing the four club protagonists meeting the railway girls.
Fans won't have to wait as long for the ending. Watashi Miraisen, performed by the four voice actresses of Tetsuryo-kai—Mei Tachibana, Mao Shoji, Haruna Fukushima, and Hizuki Tsukishiro—premieres digitally on October 16. The song is written and composed by Rinrisa, with arrangement by Masahiro Makino.
Where to Watch
In Japan, the series airs every Thursday at 24:00 on TOKYO MX and BS Fuji. NBC Nagasaki broadcasts it on Saturdays and AT-X on Sundays. For streaming, d Anime Store holds the exclusive early access every Thursday at 25:00, and a week later it joins the catalogs of ABEMA, U-NEXT, Prime Video, Hulu, and other platforms.
The main cast is rounded out by Yuki Nakajima as Chihaya Asakura, Asami Seto as Sakie Ashio, and Hana Hishikawa as Shiina Igusa. Animation is handled by East Fish Studio, with direction by Misuzu Hoshino and scripts by Aya Satsuki.
