Sky Girls

In the near future, Earth is at war with an alien race known as the Worms. The conflict has left the planet's population decimated, with young men suffering the heaviest casualties. Though the Worms were initially driven back, their return forces humanity to develop a new weapon.

The Sonic Divers, a mecha unit piloted by three young girls, is created to counter this renewed threat. Together, they must take to the skies to defend what remains of their world.
