Ever since a childhood incident, Chiaki has never been able to truly feel joy or have fun. His life is dull and emotionless until one day, his traveling father sends him a mysterious cardboard box.
When Chiaki opens the box, a girl who calls herself Cerberus pops out. She claims to be a guardian and vows to protect Chiaki from all harm. However, this girl has three distinct personalities in one body, making everyday life chaotic and unpredictable. Chiaki must learn to live with his three-in-one protector.
