Yubaba, the powerful witch from Spirited Away, appears in this short film. She stands alone, facing forward, and lets out a loud laugh. Then she turns 180 degrees, and from her hair emerges a small bird that screeches before retreating back. Yubaba turns again to face the front and laughs once more.
The short is part of a series of animated films shown exclusively at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. It captures a simple, repetitive moment that highlights Yubaba's character through her distinctive laugh and the playful interaction with the bird hidden in her hair.
