Legend of Regios exists as a fictional in-universe broadcast, a series of dramatic cut-scenes watched by the characters within the Chrome Shelled Regios narrative. This special compiles and expands upon those scenes, presenting them as a complete, standalone story.

Re-edited and fully re-dubbed in Japanese for its DVD release, it offers a deeper look into the lore and dramatic world that the characters of the main series themselves consume as entertainment.
