During World War II, Dr. Asagumo is invited to Nazi Germany by Hitler to collaborate on the research of a new weapon called "Big X." Concerned about the potential consequences, the doctor deliberately delays the project while conspiring with his co-researcher, Dr. Engel. Just before Germany's defeat, Dr. Asagumo implants a card containing the secret of Big X into his son Shigeru and is killed by the German army.
Twenty years later, Shigeru, now living in Tokyo, discovers the card in his body.
