The anime No soy una villana cualquiera (Futsutsuka na Akujo dewa Gozaimasu ga) has released the teaser for its second cour. The video previews the "Hajimete no Gaiyū" ("The First Excursion") arc, which will begin airing in January 2027.

The first arc ended with the friendship between Reirin and Keigetsu already solidified. Now the two are heading to the southern territory, ruled by the Shu family. According to the statement, the new stage will show a villain working in the shadows to set a trap for Keigetsu, and a new body swap between the two.

The anime adapts the light novels written by Satsuki Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiya and Ohitsuji Yō, published by Ichijinsha. Direction is by Mitsue Yamazaki, with Jun'ei Noro as assistant director and Yoshiko Nakamura in charge of series composition. Animation production is by Doga Kobo.

The main cast remains the same as the first part. Manaka Iwami voices Kō Reirin, and Kanna Kawaita voices Shu Keigetsu. Rounding out the cast are Makoto Furukawa as Eikōmei, Yūichirō Umehara as Shinyu, Hana Hishikawa as Riri, and Nikolai Farranase as Kō Tōsetsu.

The teaser shows Reirin and Keigetsu outside the palace setting where the first part took place. The journey to the Shu family territory puts Keigetsu in a difficult position: according to the statement, someone is trying to harm her, and the body swap between the protagonists is once again the core of the plot.

The series premiered on July 12, 2026 on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations. The second cour keeps the same technical team, with Ai Kikuchi on character design, Kei Ishiguro on color, and Yūkari Hashimoto composing the music.

The official synopsis does not go into more detail about the villain's identity or the circumstances of the new body swap. The teaser just sets up the scenario and the conflict, without revealing how it will affect the relationship between Reirin and Keigetsu.
