The publisher confirms print releases for several digital titles and the arrival of new series for fall 2027.
Kodansha USA has used its Kodansha House event in New York to announce a good batch of licenses. Among the new titles are Zacha's Undying Love, Jackpot Girls, and Manchuria Opium Squad, which will get an anime adaptation. All the new series will arrive throughout fall 2027.
The publisher has also confirmed that several of its digital titles will make the jump to print through its Kodansha Print Club line between January and April 2027. It's good news for those who prefer the physical format and had been waiting for these editions.
The Print Club's print debuts
The list of titles moving from digital to print is long and varied. Burn the House Down, an eight-volume suspense drama that inspired a Netflix live-action series in 2023, will be one of them. The story follows Shizuka Yamauchi, who infiltrates the Mitarai household as a housekeeper to uncover the truth about the fire that marked her family thirteen years earlier.

As for the new licenses, there's a bit of everything: romance, yuri, fantasy, and suspense. Zacha's Undying Love tells the story of a vampire searching for his lost love who ends up at the home of the elderly Tsugumi and her granddaughters. Jackpot Girls follows Chie and Kanae, two high school friends who win 700 million yen in the lottery and see their plans for the future change completely.
The catalog is rounded out with titles like Mr. Wrong, Right?, a school romance with a love triangle; Twilight Town, a prison thriller in a lawless region; and The Saintess Has No Magic Power, a yuri fantasy about a saint without powers and a princess who also can't cast spells.
Kodansha USA has not yet specified the exact release dates or prices for these new licenses. What is clear is that fall 2027 is going to be busy for English-language manga readers.
