Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru ends after five years of serialization

The manga Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru (With You, Our Love Will Make It Through) ended its serialization this Wednesday. Chapter 133, the final one, closes out a story that Chihiro Yuzuki began publishing in May 2021 on the Manga Mee service.

The series, also known as Kimikoe, says goodbye after five years of publication. Shueisha released volume 12 on September 26, and volume 13 will be the one to close out the collection. In total, the manga has 1.8 million copies in circulation.

A supernatural romance that also made it to anime

The story combines romance and supernatural elements, a mix that has worked very well among readers of the Manga Mee service. The publication pace remained steady throughout these five years, something that doesn't always happen with series of this kind.

The manga's success led to a 12-episode anime adaptation produced by Millepensee, which aired in fall 2025. Remow licensed the series and distributed it on Crunchyroll with English subtitles and dub.

For those who read in English, Yen Press licensed the manga in July 2024. The fourth volume came out on March 24, and the fifth is scheduled for January 26, 2027. In Latin America there is still no announcement of a publisher bringing it over in Spanish.

The end of an era

A series ending at chapter 133 speaks to a story that managed to hold interest without overstaying its welcome. Yuzuki closes the arc with 13 volumes, a round number for a supernatural romance that found its audience from the very first year.

Now all that's left is to wait for the final volume to come out in Japan and see if any Spanish-language publisher decides to pick up the license. The anime on Crunchyroll remains the easiest gateway to discover this story.
