Dragon Ball Super: Beerus gets Latin Spanish dub on November 12 on Crunchyroll
Mario Castañeda and René García return as Goku and Vegeta in the improved version of the anime, which will arrive with a new episode every Thursday.
Crunchyroll and Toei Animation have confirmed that Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be available with a Latin Spanish dub starting November 12, 2026. Episodes will premiere every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Mexico City time, and they will do so with the usual voices: Mario Castañeda as Goku and René García as Vegeta.
The announcement came with a Spanish-dubbed trailer in which you can also hear José Luis Orozco as Beerus, the God of Destruction, and Arturo Castañeda as Whis. There will be no need to get used to new voices for the main characters. The platform will also offer English and Portuguese dubs.
An improved version of the anime we already know
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is not a continuation with a new story, but a renewed edition of the anime that aired between 2015 and 2018. Toei Animation has corrected animations, added new sequences, and modified visual effects, in addition to reorganizing part of the story to improve its presentation.
The plot starts after Majin Buu's defeat, when Goku and his friends live peacefully until Beerus awakens from his sleep. The God of Destruction hears rumors about a powerful Saiyan and decides to visit Earth, which ends up leading to Super Saiyan God and other important elements of the franchise. This edition also brings back Frieza's resurrection and the Champa tournament.
Weekly release, just like in Japan
In Japan, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus began airing on October 11, and Crunchyroll was already offering episodes with subtitles for international audiences. With the arrival of the Latin Spanish dub, fans will have another chance to revisit these battles and see how much the visuals have changed compared to the original version.
That said, not all episodes will be dubbed from day one: the release will be weekly, so you'll have to keep up with one episode per week. There are still questions about how the dub for this particular edition was handled, but the important thing is already on the table: the classic voices remain intact.
